We have found a great spot for picking up sand dollars but isn't this time of year when the star fish come out? Where's a good place to check or have you seen many yet this year?

Thanks.

I can'r remember what time of year it was but las year we walked out to the nothern end of FB to take some pics of Morris Lighthouse and there was 100's of starfish washed up. I have never seen anything like. To this day that was the first and only time I have seen starfish wash up. I know the weather was cold so maybe it was around this time. It was before we moved so it must been with in the first few months of the year. Where do you find the sanddollars at?

We find tons of dead sand dollars on the beach at IOP...live ones in the summer while swimming. We are mindful of placing the live ones back in the water to live another day.

I've seen swarms of star fish at Sullivans in the summer. Can't remember if it was early summer or late.
