Bill's Party Store in Summerville for liquor and beer, Totally Wine in West Ashley for wine...

The little wine shop in Summerville on the town square is very nice and has a very nice selection but they are more on the higher end of the scale...

Just about every liquor store has the same bottles.

Total Wine has the most wine & beer that I know of.

Where are you shopping?

In Mt.Pleasant we like two shop local at the Piggly Wigglys in the area. The wine guy in both stores but especially Seaside Farms -- seems to get some great selections at great prices.

Cost Plus/World Market is always a fave.

We've been to Total Wine and it does have a huge selection.

Really? I went to the liquor store on Exchange and Bay and although the owner was awesome, found the selection limited. That can't be the case for everything....

You'll notice my post didn't deal with absolutes. I said "just about" every liquor store has the same bottles.

You chose a fairly small location in The Tavern on East Bay. Their location is small and can only hold so much. It is, however, a great place to visit. The owner is awesome, and the building is the oldest commercial building in Charleston (1718 I think) & one of the oldest continually opperating taverns in the country.
