Is all of North Charleston avoidable?
I have had more than one person tell me that North Charleston is not the place to live. Is all of it like that? I am looking for apartments in the Summerville area. One apartment in particular has caught my eye. Coopers Point in North Charleston. It is on Greenridge Road.
Any information that any one can give me about this area would be greatly appreciated!!!!

There are places in N. Charleston that are fine. It's a pretty big place.
Look into renting a condo in Oak Bluff off Rivers Ave (Rte 52).
Very quiet place. Nice pool, 2 master bedrooms rent for around $800 - $900.
A realtor can give you the details.

Oak Bluff is off of Greenridge Rd as well. There area couple townhomes/apartment complexes back there, but Oak Bluff is certainly worth looking into, as well as Cooper's Point.

I wouldn't limit that to SC. It happens nationwide.

I'm not going to slam an entire school system based on one teacher that should have never made the cut to begin with.
BUT!
Shannon, if I remember right, your kids are around 10 & 7 years old.
Therefore, in the "Lifes Priorities" column, schools are VERY important.
The short answer is Dorchester 2 School District in Summerville. Either that, or private schools.

School is for sure one of my top priorities!!!
Thank you so much for the information. However many questions I ask, I keep coming back to Summerville being my number 1 pick.
