I know Walden Ridge, how did you decide to rent there? It's about $1k a month. Depends on where you are working whether that is the right place or not.

We have a 3br/2.5ba townhome we are looking at renting from an individual for $900/month...we like the townhome's layout and Flowertown Elementary for our daughter. What are the pors & cons you are familiar with Jim?

I have no problem with Walden Ridge. Although I tend to think of it as a strip mall rather than a community. Price is good, school is good...

Again, where is work?

Strip mall was the wrong description. It's just not as 'flowing' as some other communities are.

Downtown Charleston for his work should be okay. I would probably have gone with something in Legend Oaks, the Highlands if you want a townhome specifically.

It's just an easier drive to work, nicer community and great schools.
