Been thinking of having a 'front porch' trunk show/yard sale for my handmade jewelry items, and would love to get feedback.

Will list on Craig's List, and probably flyers and Moultrie News. I'm not sure how to list, though - if I just say 'yard sale' people are going to expect low prices and lots of dickering on prices, which I'm not sure I'm willing to do. Would something like 'Front Porch Jewelry Trunk Show' draw your interest?

Would love to hear suggestions from the great minds we have here!

I think anything you have outside your house like that would be reminiscent of a garage sale and people would expect low prices etc.

Have you thought about renting a booth at a farmers market or some type of craft festival?

Call it an estate sale and you'll get some attention.

The farmer's markets in MtP don't do jewelry, so that's out. I've sent an application for the 2nd Saturday IOP craft fair sponsored by the East Cooper Crafter's Guild, and also the 3rd Saturday at the BiLo Pavilion on Shellmore in MtP, and hopefully they'll approve my work.

Circumstances make it hard for me to travel to other fairs; that's why I was thinking a trunk show kind of thing.

Do you have a facebook company page? I have a lot of friends that do that with their homeade items and make sales from their facebook pages

I do, and it's linked to my Etsy shop, but I have to admit I'm awful about keeping up with it.

There's also Mixson Maker's the first Sunday of every month. That would be a great venue for your work! I've seen your pieces and I think you'd fit in well there.
