Default Firefighters
I am from Boston, Mass and am looking to become a firefighter. Unfortuanatly here in Mass it is very hard to become one and may take 15 years if your lucky. I was wondering how they hire firefighters in the Charleston area or any area in SC for that matter. Any info would be great.

It takes 15 years in Boston to become a firefighter?

I know four of them in station houses there.

We could use you here for sure, but, I've got to question that 15 years.
Please explain.
