Yesterday crossed the line from "hot" to "hot as f*k."

I just LOL. I feel bad for all the men at Parris Island, including my husband. No idea how they stand outside all day in this weather. I can't last in it for 5 minutes. And this isn't even the worse of it. Before moving here I've lived in Greenville but Gville didn't seem this hot...

That's when I sing, "It's summertime, and the livin's easy." It's all in your attitude.

Husband went for his 25-30 mile bike ride at 6:30 pm. Some folks are just plain ole crazy.

6:30 is alright to be out because at least the sun is no longer bearing down, but all the attitude in the world couldn't counteract mixing concrete outdoors last summer when the heat index was in the mid-120s.

Things like cutting the grass... the grass is too wet in the morning so that's out, but I'm generally good to go once the heat load from the sun is gone. Say around 5:30-6:00, but I also burn easily.

I ran 10 miles this morning. Started out at 6... first 6 or so were good, then it started to get sunny in MTP. Last couple miles were brutal, I had to stop and walk a few times. I don't even want to think about how much water weight and sweat I lost because when I got in my car I could practically wring out my shirt and shorts (I have beach towels in the car for sitting on so I don't ruin the seats in my 12 year old car haha).

It's really crazy hot out there. I don't know the temp this morning but my pace was way off and I'm a pretty conditioned athlete. This heat is nothing to play around with!
