Blue Water? Yes. They are I believe locally owned with 2-3 locations around town. I know there's one on James Island.

It will be a gas station, convenience store and car wash. As a Grand Oaks homeowner, I'm not so happy about this. I knew commercial developement was inevitable out here but another convenience store / gas station???? Just hate the idea of this being at the entrance to our subdivision!

Keep an eye on future Design Review Agendas that will have the architectural drawings and landscape plans. This is the city board that reviews and approves building plans for areas of the city that the BAR doesn't control. The TRC and Design Review Board both have to approve before construction can begin.

Oh I am going to be watching this carefully. I just feel like there will be lot of congestion there at the entrance to the neighborhood regardless of how nice the design might be.

Well, a gas station isn't super exciting (after all, we do have the gas at Walmart right there), but at least something new is coming out here, I guess. I do wish we could get some restaurants, maybe a gym, library branch, etc. That would be really nice.

I lived in West Ashley for a year, in the Lochhaven Village apts ( think they tried to or did convert these to condos which is a joke). That area is kind of weird, I can't explain it really. You'd think there would be a lot more out there given all the traffic though.
