My family is relocating to Charleston at the beginning of August. We need to find a place that meets the following criteria: 2+ bedrooms, allows a small dog, a good apartment facility for a 1 year old, month to month or shorter term lease option ( < 4 months) and in the $1,650 price range. We want to live in either Mount Pleasant (closer to the Old Village side), Daniel Island or Isle of Palms, which is probably just wishfull thinking given our move in date. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I'd take a look at the Boulevard. They're brand new. Right in the heart of Mt. Pleasant. Couldn't ask for a better location.

Yep ... we toured it just to know ... have no idea about the time commitment that they're asking for. But your budget will do you well in Mt P so go look at Craigslist where there's lots of condo landlords looking to rent & may accept 3 months. Good luck!
