Meks, there is a Northside Christian Academy. It's on Northside Dr. which is the frontage road beside I-26. It's near Alice Birney Middle and Stall High.

Another good private school is at the Cathedral of Praise on Ashley Phosphate.

Default thanks + GOD question

for all the good advice. The WWW.CHARELSTON.NET website was a bit of an eye opener, I see news of murders and 50 cold cases all over the front page. Wheres the good news link ???

I have been speaking to some people and feel the need to ask about the GOD factor. Are we (my family) going to be looked down upon for simply not attending/belonging to/donating money to a church ? Its not that we do not believe in god, its just that we do not go to church.
Are my kids going be refused play dates because their parents know we do not go to church ????

I don't recall ever meeting someone who wanted to know which church I frequented and how often/much I donated at collection in Charleston. I think you'll be fine.

sorry to say this, but that assumption is totally ridiculous.

It does seem that there is a church every 1/4 mile here.
As in most of England & Ireland. Although the denominations are more varied here.

No one knows who goes where, unless they want you to know, or they see you in church.

Yes, it's the bible belt.
No, not everyone wears a belt.

You'll be just fine. That is the least of your worries.

I didn't want to make an assumption, I was just asking first because of stuff i heard from (an obviously misinformed) source.

Hope to move end of 2008, i need the housing market to pick up in Phoenix.
