Is there anything in Hanahan or do you need to go to N Chas or Goose Creek? Stores like big box stores, Walmart, Home Depot, Dollar Stores, thrift stores, etc? Dining and entertainment options? Does it have an actual downtown?

It's basically a little suburb. I think there's a Food Lion grocery store and a gas station and that's it... you would have to go to North Charleston for most everything.

There is a King's Pizza, a little Chinese restaurant and a little bar in the Food Lion shopping center....

The primary retail area of Rivers ave is very close proximity to most of hanahan. That would be your shopping area. I lived in Hanahan for a year, and shopping was very convenient. As far as nightlife, Park circle is within 10 min from most of Hanahan excluding the Otranto area.

There's also Super Bi-Lo with Bucca's, and a couple other places at Tanner Plantation.
