We moved to Park West. I'm more familiar with Andover, Pembroke, and Masonborough subsections. I believe the other subsections are equally populated with younger families. Of the subsections I mentioned, I would say Pembroke has the most concentrated number of young families.
I'm not sure what a court is so you'll have to enlighten me on that.
I just read my last post on a computer. I've really go to stop posting with my phone.

A court is also called a cul de sac. It's a street with no thru way and a circle at the end with houses lining the whole way around. In Mt P, it seems they have more 'circles' than 'courts'.
We are def considering Park West. Can you tell me if there is a community boat ramp in Park West? I read there are no community docks, but was unclear about storage and ramps. And if so, where they are located in the community. Thanks!
I don't believe there is a community ramp in Park West, but Carolina Boatyard has trailer/boat storage, dry dock, and ramps just up the road on 41 into the Wando. Across the bridge is the Charleston City Boat Yard. There are very few people I'm aware of that store their boats in their garages. You can't store them in the driveway or backyard. There is a storage area at the corner of Bessemer Rd and Hwy 41. A lot depends on where you want to put in. There are boat storage/launches in many places around Mt. P, Charleston, and DI. But, we've only been researching boats.. don't actually have one ourselves yet. There are others on the forums that are probably better able to answer those kinds of questions.
Yes, I've always heard them referred to as cul de sacs. And you are correct there aren't very many. When you say circles, the only thing I can think of are the traffic circles. Those are in lieu of full stop sign which slows the flow of traffic.
We actually live on one of the rare cul de sacs, but it's connected to the main street. The city frowns upon having neighborhoods with only a single means of entry and exit as it can cause problems if a natural disaster or accident occurs, it blocks access to the whole area and can impede emergency response.

There's a community boat ramp in Dunes West.
