Anyone else been to the new hot dog joint just before you cross over to Sullivan's Island.

$3.50-$4.00 for a hot dog that has very little flavor?

Our tab yesterday was just over $12 for two dogs a soft drink and a tea.

Jack's is cheaper than that...and that's saying something! I'd also prefer to go to Jack's...and I don't even like Jack's. LoL

The place is cute & clean...but that won't bring us back. We were so looking forward to it too...

Sorry, Seppy.

Went there on Memorial Day. It was expensive but my hot dogs were good. At least as good as a hot dog is going to get. You can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig, right? Best hot dogs for the value are the ones floating in hot dog water at Bert's on Folly.

Anyway Darius Rucker walked over with his son and ate hot dogs while we were there, so the celebrity sighting made it a bit more interesting.

Yeah, he lives "across the street"...

I stopped by Seppy's a month ago with my toddler son. Despite the friendly service, the food was sub par and I was a bit offended that they tried to sell me a t-shirt before I placed my order.

I got the one with mustard, cheese, and jollies, and it all tasted like I could make it with cheap canned/jarred ingredients from a Food Lion.

Johnny's food is much better, as is Jack's. I've also yet to try Skoogie's yet, which I've heard is good.

Seppys might not be the greatest, but Jacks are cheapo pork/chicken garbage. If you want a real dog go to the Butcher and Bee on upper King.

You may be definitely right, but places that post daily changing menus are extremely annoying. I want to try the "apparent" best burger at Husk, but who the hell knows when that will be?

Also, Jack's is only good with their chili. Every single item with chili is delicious as every single item without it is not. Just my opinion, but still worth it to support this local company.

I love daily changing menus. It means what I being served is coming from what is good at the time. Different strokes for different folks.
