Default Isle of Palms South Carolina Photo Slide Show

I have received an encouraging response to my short slide show of the town of Mt. Pleasant. I have added a very short slide show of the Isle of Palms Beach Community, adjacent to Mt. Pleasant, taken on June 1, 2007. There may be a few duplicates of photos that I have posted in this forum before, but I find this slide show format quite easy and quick. I will be glad to post slide shows of various subdivisions in the Charleston area if forum members feel that it would be helpful to those considering relocating to the Charleston area. It would not be an endorsement of any particular community, but rather a photographic overview of the various subdivisions found in the Charleston area, particularly in the town of Mt. Pleasant that I am the most familiar with because of my job.

Thanks USCJoe, I love the Mt. Pleasant slide show as this is where we are thinking of relocation. It really helped see different areas!

Default Mt. Pleasant Community Slide Show

In order to give forum members a better photographic insight of the town of Mt. Pleasant and it's different housing community options, I am providing another link to a photographic slide show. The Olde Park community in Mt. Pleasant is certainly an upscale community where homes generally range in size between 3500 sqft. and 6000 sqft. and are priced at any given time in the $1,200,000 to $2,800,000 price range. The homes in the slide show are to my knowledge not for sale, but included to give forum members a feel for the architectural details and styles found in many of the Charleston area communities, particularly in the town of Mt. Pleasant. The price per square foot for such homes is certainly substantially higher than that found in areas further out from the Charleston historic district. The higher prices to a large degree can be attributed to the architectural detail, interior and exterior quality of the homes, lot costs, building impact fees as well as the higher costs associated with building newer homes in compliance with the International Wind Code Standards required in the town of Mt. Pleasant. I think that forum members would appreciate others posting photographs of Charleston area communities and attractions as a "picture speaks a thousand words."
