We drove through this development when we were down last and really liked it. It seems to have a lot of trees and perhaps some houses that might be within our "low 300s" price range.

I scoured online and it seems that the Covenants docs are only available to people who live there, as a sign-on is required.

Does anyone know what the fence height/style restriction is? We are seeking a development that will allow a 6' privacy fence, and as a back-up would accept a development with a 5' restriction.

You might be able to get the docs on the register of deeds website. I could be wrong, but I think they need to be recorded.

Not meant to be scary. This is typical HOA stuff as the declarant/builder winds down and turns the association over to the owners.

Also if say a few hundred homes, one does not have to go far to find one ahole disagreeing with anything and filing suit.

One additional note. Some sites have it wrong. Charleston National Golf Club is a public golf course. It is not a private golf club.

I have never seen a fence on any home backing up to the golf course. This does not mean they are not allowed.
