My fiances starter when out on his truck and I took my engagement ring off because I didn't want to get the dirt and grime in it. It fell out of my pocket at some time after that. Does anybody know where you can rent a metal detector? It's a white gold ring. I was searching for 4 hours yesterday and kept looking again this morning. Any help would be appreciated. I'm desperate at this point.

Call the tool rental places or just ask around amongst friends and you might find someone that has one. Since it's likely to be right on ground surface, I don't think you'd need a high tech model.

Good luck!

There is a guy who runs a facebook page named South Carolina Metal Detecting. Message him and ask if there is someone local who can help. My MD is not working right now.

Forget the metal detector. You're going to need a new fiancé detector

Seriously though, I do hope you find it. My wife lost her ring in the rain right before we were going to see a movie. After a futile search we ended up going to see the movie anyway. Needless to say, I didn't really enjoy the movie. We ended up finding it later that night in the floorboard of my car.
