I had moved away from the area for over 15 years so now after moving back I have to find doctors, hair salons, etc. all over again.
Where do you usually go to get your eye exams and where do you buy your glasses? I was thinking maybe I'd just go to Costco or Walmart but curious where other people go.
Draisin Vision Group in West Ashley! Voted #1 Optometrist in the Country. They are amazing. I am very particular who I go to since I had LASIK several years ago and they have great technology. For instance, they are keeping me under their radar because I may be showing the early stages of glaucoma. I went through pretty intensive testing and it eases my mind how advanced they are with their training and that I will be in good hands if my eyes do get bad.
I moved to Summerville 2-1/2 years ago and this is who I use:
Eye Doctor: Dr. Dungan, Ocean Eye on Trolley Road 873-1889
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Both the BEST!
Hair: Chip Howard at New Creations Salon in Summerville 871-3298

My family goes to Carolina Eye Care, they have offices all around the area. We visit the Summerville office and see Dr. Whittington. I have an appointment with her today.
As far as frames and lenses, my family uses the in-house optical shop, I will try to save a little money and go to Lenscrafters for my frames and maybe the lenses, not sure yet.
