looks like i'm a day late for the suggestions lol, but at least in spring/summer we like to head down to Savannah for the day (including lunch at the Pirate's House) but we always make sure we save time for a drive thru the Savannah National Wildlife refuge on the SC/GA border. At least when it's warm, it's easy to see countless gators in the waters, many different birds, and we even saw and had some distant pix of a bobcat family which was pretty neat. Not sure in the cool Nov temps what it's like for wildlife viewing though.....

Yeah i know locals may not get excited about gators, but this WI transplant sure does
