Agree with disappointment in Toast, try Charleston's Cafe in Mt. P, The Lot in James Island.

Collective Coffee in Mt P near ION does great brunch daily, and on wkds its a good somewhat tucked away option.

Gets busy and space is limited, but nothing like the crowding downtown.

High Cotton has good brunch. I agree on 82 Queen. I'll have to check Moe's Crosstown; thanks for that tip.

I'm an East Cooper guy, so don't know many of the downtown/JI places - but Morgan Creek has an amazing brunch menu. And the best of all - Waters Edge has a great brunch buffet - complete with omelet and carving stations and pretty much everything. Also, another good one is Gullah Cuisine on 17 (near the Town Center). I believe they only do it on Sunday's, but it is also top notch. I am not a breakfast guy, but my gf loves it, so we compromise and hit up a brunch place every Sunday.
