Hi friends,
we are an european family, we will move to Charleston next summer (as permanent resident), and for the initial months we look for a hause for rent.
Becouse we don't know the area, our idea is to rent a long term (6 months?) apartment or home, fully furnished, and in a secure area (doens't matter a school district).
Do you have any idea or suggestion ?
Thanks a lot

Hi Deutmark,
What is your budget? What type of area are you looking for? (downtown, suburbs, beach)

I don't have any butget (it means, it's not a problem, at moment).
We prefer not downtown nor suburbs; I would say in a range < 20-30 miles from citycentre, a quit place well organized for a family (with car), who does not know the American habits...
We are an aged family, me 51 yo, my wife 49 yo and our daughter 21 yo.

That will give you a wide range of properties to look at. It would help to know more... 2 bedroom enough or would you rather have 3 or more? Prefer a house or Apartment? I understand that you want furnished and safe... any other criteria that's important?

I sent a direct message too.

Good luck with the search - it really does sound like there are TONS of areas that would work out. For what it's worth you guys sound like you'd be cool neighbors. Not being familiar with life in the US is just fine.
