Bakeries in Summerville or surrounding area
I have three teenagers and their birthdays are in December (3rd, 11th, and 12th) and I was wondering if there is a bakery around Summerville that specializes in cakes. I know Wal-Mart and Publix have bakeries but I wanted to know if there were any other bakeries.
I'm fairly new to the area and I'm not sure what is around here. Thank you in advance!

There is a German bakery called Rococo Bakery in the Azalea Shopping Center. (Where the Target is) It's two doors down from McAlister's restaurant.

Rococo's has been gone for a while now. I've yet to find a good old fashioned bakery around here. If they like ice cream cakes Marble Slab has some and so does Dairy Queen. If you find one let me know!

I was wondering about Rococo's because I was in Kohl's today and drove around the parking lot looking for it. I guess I'm going to have to settle for a Wal-Mart cake because Simply Delicious isn't open on Monday. Thanks for the help, though!

Rococo's is still in West Ashley, down by Avondale;

Talked w/ Rococo yesterday at the Christmas Farmers Market on Marion Square.
They do birthday cakes. They also make a mean Austria apple strudel and Tomato Pie. But make sure you pick up a black forest bread! Call them at 843.763.2055 jim
