We are planning on moving to DI in May/June.

We have two younger children. We would like to be in Smythe Park b/c the kids. We are having a hard time finding a house that will work for us. Are there kids on the Park side?

We live in SC currently and my husband has his real estate license so we are looking on our own. I thought I would post something here to see if anyone may know of a home that isn't listed yet, but may be getting ready to list. Or of something we are missing. We are looking for a 4 bedrm plus bonus/play room - 4000 or so sq. ft home.

Budget is around $1,000,000 or so.
Thanks for any help!

122 Iron Bottom Street | Daniel Island

127 Island Park Drive | Daniel Island

Both are a bit smaller than 4,000sf but not exactly small, either.

With a budget of $1M I'm assuming you're looking at some pretty high-end finishes, but there are also a number in Smythe Park that might meet your stated needs in the $650K range.

Live in Smythe Park and no contest there are more kids on this side.

But there are a few in Park too, but that side just skews older and more stuffy country club to me.

On Wando View here and there a few 1M spec houses and on Smythe fronting the river.

Although the community treehouse on the river on Smythe is cute... the new houses on the water aresoclosetogether
you can literally reach out and shake hands with your neighbor thru the window!

A little to neighborly for me!
