We just got back from staying on Isle of Palms. Awesome for breakfast, or anytime actually, don't miss it: Seabiscuit Restaurant. We also ate at the North Point Restaurant on Palm Blvd. next door to the Harris Teeter's. Very good !

Awesome, on Sullivan's Island: Poe's Tavern I even ordered a pint of their coleslaw to go.

John's Island: We ate at the Tomato Shed. Excellent. Make sure to buy their cookbook, but it doesn't have the owner's secret coconut cake recipe in it; so get a hunk of that cake for dessert.

Was low 80's all last week, glorious. But 40 degrees yesterday morning and windy as all get out.

The Ravenel bridge is to be "respected", traffic knows no speed limit. 3 accidents that we saw last week alone. Thumbs down for the traffic around Charleston. They even let bikers ride in the middle of the auto lanes. Dumb and dumber were there.

Right in downtown Charleston and on the main roads heading out of Charleston. And they weren't just college students. Was shocked. I tapped on the horn, and they just kept right on going their merry way.
