Quick in and out trip to Charleston yesterday. Had the Crispy Whole Flounder at Hyman's. Still one of the best fish dinner's in all of Charleston.

Had lunch at Foodies Cafe and Catering on Sam Rittenberg. One of my favorite quick options in West Ashley.

I need to try Foodie's! We wanted to go recently but they closed at 7 PM which was a bit early for us since we wanted dinner and it was already after 6...

Today I had lunch at Ali Baba Deli on Daniel Island. Had the cucumber salad, chicken salad and a different salad. Very good. Just don't get up there very often since I normally eat at desk.

A drink or two there without food would have been better.

Not that the food was bad by any means, nor was it that good ... hence the meh.

I also found it overpriced considering the average cuisine.

Thankfully the company was great so it didn't really impact the evening either way.

Tried out Boxcar Betty's on Savannah highway for lunch. I had the Buffalo and It was very good. Brand new restaurant but the dining room was full when we left.
