oops somebody at Bass Pro or their 'developer/construction' group didn't do their due diligence....tsk, tsk. That's a big costly
mistake.

In most cases a retailer won't close on a land purchase until all the necessary approvals are in place. Hope they get things done soon.

What is going into the old Black Bean on Folly Road? I met friends at Stereo 8 last night and just now realized it was being completely remodeled. Not sure how I missed that before since I drive by it at least every other week.

At one point it was supposed to be a sandwich shop called "The Hen and The Goat" and I think that's still the plan.

Looks like BAR is conceding to allow Sgt Jasper to move forward. The tone and demeanor of their criticism appear to be 180 degrees from where it was 9 months ago. What a farce.

The BAR had no choice. Well I guess they did have a choice. They could have not over reached their authority last year. But they did and now to avoid a huge lawsuit against the city, the BAR is being forced to give conceptual approval as part of agreement struck between the city and Beach Company. No surprises here and kudos to the Beach Co. for not backing down in protecting their legal zoning rights in place on this property.
