Make the Wal-Mart look like a plantation. Have the back three rows of parking for horses only and tell tourists it's been there since 1873. They love that sort of stuff.

Lol people need to accept change. If a city is growing let it grow. They would rather have a old rat infested building then something nice because it MIGHT cause more traffic.

Its not the traffic, its the height. Build anything taller than Shaquille ONeal and it ruins the charm of the city. I say leave SJ up. Are we really going to gentrify these rats? They squeak day by day to make a living, who are we to throw them out?

It is what it is. Charleston hates height. Maybe we can erect Sargeant Jasper II in North Charleston and it can be 400 feet and then nobody will care about the current one anymore.

Sarcasm aside, has the "town centers" in Mt P and Summerville, and Bass Pro in N Chuck started yet? Hopefully we land some exclusive stores to the area. Charlestons missing a lot.

Went to Savannah over the weekend and kinda envyous. Charlestons over twice the size of Savannah yet they seemed to have a few amenities that others have (Cola, Gville, Myrtle, Augusta, etc), but we dont. I dont get it.

Fresh Market, Melting Pot, Ruth Chris (ik one is coming), Jared, Cheddars, etc.

I'm not at all impressed with the proposed design of the International African-American
Museum. This is one time I hope the BAR rejects the design but because it's so blasé it will get the green light.

BAR agenda for tomorrow night with more renderings of museum building at beginning of agenda:
