Considering moving to Charleston area. I have a child who will be 18 and has moderate Cerebral Palsy and moderate learning disabilities and a nonverbal learning disability
She walks with crutches and occasionally uses a wheelchair. I am wondering about how the city is for access for individuals with physical disabilities. Public transportation?
Given her learning disabilities, we are not sure what her level of independence will be in adulthood. I am familiar with the REACH program at College of Charleston. Does anyone have other information on other programs and services?
