More Charleston Rankings:
The region is a top ten fastest growing mid-sized metro for software industries and occupations. Charleston also ranks 5th in the U.S. for high-tech industry output, right alongside Silicon Valley, and has a higher share of tech jobs than Austin.

Old Village and Belle Hall are probably two of the hottest areas currently. Sullivan's Island is fetching $600 per square foot, so that's pretty hot. Downtown just pushed the button for warped speed.. lol

In Mt. Pleasant and on the Islands yes. 2 buyers for every home. There is some new construction sites that will help with the inventory. Carolina Park in Mt. Pleasant will add 1700 homes. Summerville and Goose Creek aren't experiencing quite the boom that the coastal areas are, but they are still way up this year. There's two or three master planned communities breaking ground in Summerville/Jedburg area and Cane Bay is helping with the inventory issues out there.

Probably the slowest moving homes are still that Million plus home. They are just hit and miss, you might have one hit the market and sell in two days, and they one next door could sit for six months.
