Me and my husband are looking for a great place to move to. Great weather and great place to raise kids. We are both VERY active. He would need to find a job as a Special Ed teach.. does anyone know how hard that would be? And does Summerville SC sound like the place for us?

The Charleston metro area is a good area because we have three counties in which to seek teaching jobs. In Summerville, the dominant school district is Dorchester County District II.

Summerville is a perfect place to raise kids, I raised two myself there. Best Schools in South Carolina - SC School Rankings this website will help rank the schools, you can drill it down not only to help decide where you want your kids to go, but it may help as a guide to your husband's employment.

Right, Charleston and it's surrounding areas are a great place to live but whether Summerville or one of the other communities would fit you best all depends on your budget, needs/wish list, lifestyle, etc. Give us some specifics and we can fill you in on the possibilities!
