Not a chance. Skoogies is about on par with Jack's Cosmic Dogs and Dairy Queen.

Try the Butcher and Bee downtown.

Skoogies and Johnny's. They are different styles, so I'd suggest trying both of them.

Seriously? Skoogies? That place is like a step down from a ballpark weiner.

Haha I'm not saying it was the best. It was better than Seppy's, that's for sure. And you can't beat that basket deal with the fries. Their fries are delicious though. And the only way to get a Skoogie dog is all the way.

Also, check out Five Guys for hot dogs. They are pricey, but delicious. Yes, they will look at you funny when you order one instead of one of their burgers, but I was impressed with the flavor.

I'll give Skoogies one more shot. One more.

Haha, well if you didn't go all the way the first time and get the basket, then definitely, give them one more shot. But Seppy's? Food Lion ingredients + hot dog =/= repeat visit. I'm still looking for the best hot dog in the area. I heard the Joe has the best and I would love to try B&B after your recommendation. Do they have it every day?
