Anybody can hire an illegal, but the true test is where illegals go to eat. That's where you'll find true authentic Mexican food.

Tiajua flats was on my transplant wish list though.

And your thread evolved. It happens. It's still about local ethnic food, so what's the problem ?
While we're on the subject, I'm sure everybody here would like to know what kind of illegal alien detecting device you're using, you seem to know so much.. on the other hand though, maybe not.
There is an illegal immigration forum where you can rant all you want about illegal immigrants.
Yac.

I went to there the other day after reading this thread.....not my kind of place at all. Food okay, but hated the atmosphere, too fast food for my liking. Won't be going back.

The atmosphere is exactly what's awesome about Tijuana Flats. There's no mariachis at Moes either. At the very least there's more options than burritos and burrito bowls.

Ziggy is right on. What's cool about Tijauna Flats is the atmosphere!! Cool walls, Colors, cool music, pro athletes with autographs and store employees all over the walls. Very cool art work on the walls and bathroom doors, good tacos and burritos made by Americans!

.

Matter of opinion, I guess. When husband and I go out, it's our "date". I prefer a little more intimate dining, this feels to me like a cafeteria. Different strokes for different folks.

It's a cool place, if you are cool. It is not for dates or romantic dinners. I guess it is geared to a certain crowd that might also like punk rock, metal, rock n' roll, thriller movies, skateboarding, X games, surfing if I was taking a guess. It's far from a cafeteria!
