I'm moving from Florida to Charleston and am looking for an apartment that will allow large dogs with no breed restrictions. If anyone out there can point me in the right direction, I would certainly appreciate it.

If you are alone, try Rommates.com or Craigs list for our area as you may search by 'pets ok'.
We have plenty of places other than that that allow pets.
If you're looking for a home to rent, we can help you with that too.

We need to know,
Where? How Long? How Much? How Big's the dog?

Does anyone know anything about the Edgewater Plantation apartments? Is that a nice place to live? I am thinking about living in Mt Pleasant and want to live there for a year before I commit to a home purchase. How does it rate on a scale 1-10???

Hook up with a property management company or Realtor willing to help you with rentals. They'll know which ones will take a large dog. I had friends in town this weekend in the same situation and they found several options -- privately owned houses or townhomes that would allow a large dog with a pet fee.
