Area Near McGill Ct or Island Estate Dr on Johns Island, SC ??? (Charleston: sex offenders)

Hey Everyone,
Looking at a couple properties: 1 on McGill Ct. and 1 on Island Estate Dr on Johns Island, SC - I was trying to do some demographics and crime research and found that there is a sex offender on the 1 block

Do you have any information on these areas and is it safe for a single woman Mid-40's?

Miss, just because there is a sex offender on 1 block means nothing. There are sex offenders all over the county, even in very wealthy neighborhoods. You can get reports from Charleston County or Charleston City depending on if the area is in the county or city of Charleston on Johns Island. You have to look at the overall all crime rate and stats for the neighborhoods. There is more crime on the end of Johns Island near Main Rd/Brownswood Rd area, where Island Estates is located. It is safer in on the side of Johns Island near Maybank and River rd side of Johns Island next to the Stono Bridge.
