Coming off of IOP connector look at Towne Center (Mt P's open air mall). Zoes Kitchen, Qudoba, Atlantic Bread Company, Five Guys Burgers are all there. They're the type of casual fast food where you order & numbers are called for pickup/table delivery. Free peanuts at Five Guys for an appetizers (sort of)! Good pizza at Slice right across Hungry Neck Blvd in the Iron Gate shopping center (by the car wash).

I love KSG's waffle fries. They also do nightly specials.

Sesame does a discounted burger night as well... if you like burgers you can eat pretty cheap .

Another idea to save money is to take one night where you and your wife watch the kids and eat something cheap while the other couple goes out alone... and then you and your wife go out one night so you can go somewhere really good and as expensive as you like!
