Any MN transplants out there? (Charleston: living in, moving, relocating)

Hi all, just wondering if anyone is actually from Minnesota that is currently living in the Charleston area? We are thinking of relocating down, perhaps next year sometime....I would love to hear a fellow Minnesotan's perspective on this! I lived in Montana for a while. Not MN, but it's pretty close as far as climate goes. And unless you're in one of the larger cities in MN it probably is similar culturally as well. But it's so much different than Charleston, or anywhere in the southeast, it's hard to draw direct comparisons.
