It was really cold at the James Island Connector Run Saturday!
Of course the wind was bad, but running on a connector made it even worse. It was one of my worst 5K times in awhile but everyone's race times were slower, the wind just blew us all around. A lot of the registered participants did not come on race day...
I'm glad it's warmed up a bit and feels more like Fall instead of winter! Unfortunately one of my friends got sick after the run, from the temperature changes. Also a little girl at the run looked like she had an asthma attack or something, she was okay (thank goodness!).
