I'm new in the area (i'm new in the country.....) and I'm looking for a place, an outdoor range, where to shot with rifle.
I would like a place with a 200-300 yards range, for fun or plinking.
Is there such a place ?
I've head about Twin Ponds: any suggestion ?

Thank you all.

There is a place on North Highway 17. Not sure what it is called. I think it is in Awendaw.

Aside from private shooting/hunting clubs ... Twin Ponds is the only one locally that I know about ... it should suffice for your needs

There is also a range on Hwy 41 called "Boggy Head" (No kidding) The sun is in your face in the afternoon, so go early.

This one, and Twin Pond is only 100 yards. There are no public ranges that are longer........
