It seems like the Food Network has turned into non-stop marathons of Guy Fieri shows, and it's making me hungry.

What places around town are similar to the restaurants that you might see on Diner's Drive-Ins, and Dives?

There are a few places that have been featured on the show:
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives Charleston, Sc Restaurant Listings, Maps, Locations, Seen on TV

Let's get a list going of a few more that are mom and pop spots, hole in the wall burger joints, or places with really outstanding food in a location where you would never expect to find it.

Boxcar Betty's in West Ashley. It wouldn't surprise me to see them on the Food Network soon.

It won't ever be on Food Network, but Charleston Burger Company off Bees Ferry is great. The burger is Food Network worthy, but the atmosphere is lacking for a TV show to go there.

Moe's crosstown has awesome burgers. Dave's seafood is probably the best "dive" I can think of.

great call!
so good and definitely does have the vibe of a place that might pop up on TV soon.

On the nice end of the spectrum, Al Di La always seemed like the type of place that might be featured also.

When I was remodeling my daughter's townhouse last summer I'd stop at Dave's on the way home a lot. Great fried fish and veggie of the day dinner for a great price. Good dive atmosphere too.

We've never been to Moe's. Please give your review.
I've tried to get my husband there a couple of times, and it's not happened.
