Does anyone have any insight into the near/long term plans for Clements Ferry road near I-526? I've heard that there may be a major development soon with schools, retail, residential, etc. but have also heard that this has been on the books for several years and that not much has transpired.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

For years there has been talk of widening Clement's Ferry Road and running it out past Rte 41 and reconnecting to Rte 17 in Awendaw. Sort of an outer belt, bypass.
