You really have nothing to worry about...Ferguson did not riot because BLM. Ferguson erupted because of the verdict. BLM was not a catalyst. There was no such thing as Black Lives Matter in Los Angeles in 1992 or 1965, so how is the 2014 Ferguson riots BLM's fault?

Hopefully Charleston has more sense, but if people riot and start burning things down, itll be because the courts let off Slager with no punishment, not becasue BLM's sent out a statment saying "okay everyone, start rioting!" I dont see how he gets off, theres not much to worry about.

BLM is not a hate group like the KKK or BP's. Theyre a group chanting for justice, not agression.

The issue for me is this shooting had nothing to do with race.. yet that's the agenda some people want to push. The local media carries a lot of blame because they are overtly fanning racial sensitivities for profit.

In other news,

Malik Shabazz, a lead organizer of protests in Ferguson, Mo., who once led the New Black Panther Party, has announced a “mass demonstration” at 5 p.m. outside City Hall and vowed to take the struggle against police brutality “to a whole new level.”

Should be interesting...

The man wasn't shot because of the color of his skin. He was shot because the officer had an authority complex and was pissed off the guy didn't follow his commands and didn't want to chase him.

Black men getting shot/harrassed/beat up, etc by Police is an epidemic in this country. To say that the Scott shooting had nothing to do with race is naive. I would imagine a white guy in the exact same situation would probably not have been shot or tasered so quickly. Yes, white dudes also get shot by the police, but there is a bias out there that cannot be overlooked.

Please provide proof that Scott was shot due to the color of his skin. You are taking one perceived issue and trying to force it on to this shooting. It's not naive, it's looking at this shooting individually.

There is an issue of police power expansion and the personality like this that is drawn to that. However, the rate of deaths due to police shootings, as it corresponds to race, has a lot of variables. You have to consider population concentrations, crime rate, type of crime etc. You can't just make blanket statements
