I've moved around a lot and contemplated many cities to move to after I pass my boards to become a registered nurse. Moving around as a single female in her twenties sounds empowering and adventurous but it can be risky and lonely. I know "bad things" can happen anywhere in your hometown at the store in a big city in a small city etc BUT I do feel safest in South Carolina. And think after I pass my boards I will give charleston a try.
I will be a nurse. I'm outgoing. I'm bold. I'm talkative. And I'm genuine. I consider myself attractive. Asides nursing I like a vibrant nightlife and playing tennis.
Will it be easy to make friends and get involved in the dating scene ?

IMO, no one can really say what will happen. Being attractive and outgoing will expose you to men more frequently than someone who doesn't go out. We have a large community of young adults. I recommend to come and visit. The females out-number the men downtown, so men are reluctant to settle down.
Doesn't matter about the city. Follow some old rules. 1st. do what you like, don't change thinking that will improve you chances. 2. Be happy, don't be a party pooper. 3rd. Take the leap, be positive and positive things will happen.
Looking to potentially move to Charleston as well! But I'm on the other side of the spectrum, 25 year old single male currently living in Pennsylvania. From what I've read on these forums and elsewhere so far, it seems like the nightlife and entertainment are awesome for a city its size and as Charleston continues to grow so rapidly, hopefully it would only become more fun.
Obviously, I'm just going by what others have said as I haven't been to Charleston yet personally - but I'm pretty excited to visit soon and see for myself.

Just keep in mind, downtown is $$$$. A lot of people that live here don't have the money to eat downtown often. Rent is also very expensive (compared to similar populations of 35k).
They say women outnumber men in Charleston but I believe that is primarily the under 25's and due to the College of Charleston being primarily female. As a professional, out going, attractive female I assume you will have no trouble making friends and/or lovers.

You will love Charleston.
That's right, the women outnumbering men scenario is really only true for the college age crowd. The statistics are right here on City Data.
Also, there are a ton of social opportunities around tennis in Charleston. There are singles and doubles leagues at all levels. With all you have going, I doubt you'll have much trouble making friends. If I were young....
I met my gf just going out and being social in Nashville and she is way better looking than me, I love southern belles. I am sure you will have no problems with your social life if you are outgoing even if you are not as attractive, people are in the South tend to be more welcoming and friendly then other parts of the country so its easy to make friends.
