I saw you ask the same question in other Volvo threads, it just triggered my troll alert. My apologies if it was a false positive.
I went here because I figured I'd get a better response, being it's in the Charleston area. I've seen most give an idea of pay when announcing. Some don't. Either way, it's good.

Congratulations on you guys getting this plant. Volvo has a huge truck manufacturing plant here in the Roanoke VA area.
Volvo just spent big bucks upgrading the plant. It currently employs 2,000. NC put in a big shot at getting it near Greensboro.
I assume they are planning for more Chinese sales.

They are looking to increase US sales if anything.

Interesting article in The State (Rag) on 05/10 about how this site could also serve Volvo's owner (Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, a Chinese automobile manufacturer) desire to enter the North American market. Geely has said it wants to enter the North American market. Two plants, side by side. One making Volvo's and one making Geely automobiles.

Unfortunately the Volvo is the one on jacks right now due to a transmission swap and long laundry list of "while you're in there..." stuff.
