Tues, 1/26 at 12:44 PM. Either someone big fell down the stairs, a giant cement truck drove by, or we had a minor rumble?

I'm up near the 41 bridge over the Wando.

Felt it in the OV. Short but definitely something big.

Folks say they heard a loud boom first and then the house shook. I live south of Town Center and I didn't notice anything

I felt something too in Mount Pleasant near IOP Connector. My window sounded like it shook.

I'm off of Mathis Ferry & just happened to be at home & sitting on the floor at a file cabinet on 2nd floor of my house -- then BOOM! Thought TV fell off wall downstairs or something major like the washing machine or refirig fell over ... just absurd thoughts! Rationally, came to think earthquake, but it wasn't a whole house or ground shake. I was a BOOMIN' shake. So glad to know it wasn't in my head!
Moneill, surprised you didn't register it, but perhaps because your a little "inland" or centered -- on the marsh it was felt.

And is there an actual/real & plausible explanation for it yet?
