Hello
My husband myself and our 5 month old daughter are moving to Summerville next month and we toured several homes while we were in town a few weeks ago. We fell in love with midland terrace and I am wondering if anyone can tell me how safe that part of town is? Safety is a huge concern for me as he will be working 2nd shift eventually leaving baby and me home until wee hours in the morning by ourselves.

Random crime can happen anywhere, but that's a safe area, as is most of Summerville.

Pretty safe from what I can see using Crime Stats. https://www.raidsonline.com/

Thank you all for your replies. Yes I understand crime can happen anywhere but from what I understand ladson is more prone to crime so I would not want to live there.

TealDreamer, can you voice an opinion on the forum? We all learn from these discussions. I didn't chime in because I don't know that specific neighborhood very well. I've always thought of it as mostly all townhouses and probably an ok neighborhood.

Default Midland Terrace

LocalHero....No, I don't want to post what happened on a public forum due for liability reasons. Sorry. Will only send the info in a DM.

I am wondering if anyone has any more recent experience. I really appreciate the dm I recorded but in 5 years a lot can change.

Tealdreamer it will not let me reply to your DM it says I only have 2 DM's per day? Thank you so much for your information. Do you have any recommendations to buy elsewhere? All the single family homes in our price range are pretty sketchy. They look great in pictures but horrible in person.
