A lot of folks in NC have been quick to bring up the fact that cities in SC (e.g. Columbia, Charleston, etc.), have LGBT laws in place.

Yet I've come up short, in finding the actual Charleston statute.

Anyone know what it is?

I've never understood why laws focused directly at LGBT were necessary. But I seem to remember something about Charleston doing some anti discrimination measures around housing last year. Personally I don't really care what bathroom you identify with and use. However, I don't feel pastors should be required to perform services that they feel are against their faith.

That's pretty much the consensus these days. Some of these folks losing their sh** over Target are turning into a comedy show. They obviously don't even shop there or they would no Target has a family restroom in every pharmacy department. I only pull irregular uncle duty & I know it.

FWIW- I think Folly has actually passed the most inclusive ordinance.

Browse through the attached. It covers employment and housing as they pertain to the LBGT community.

I can't address the predators, but rest assured any pedo peeping my kids won't go away happy. I don't need a law to deal with that. I might not win the fight, but they sure as hell will know they've been in one.

No need for laws to correct things that aren't a problem.

Bruce Jenner isn't a pedophile. Jared from Subway is.

Stick your head in the sand and think people are sick, but you'd be wrong. Something over 80% of pedophiles are males who self-identify as Christians.
