My wife works at MUSC and she went to a presentation last week of currently unpublished work that is trying to show that cancer and asthma rates are higher in areas downwind of the factory. She said some of the data and maps of air quality readings were really astonishing. This work is currently being prepared for journal review and hopefully will be published by the end of the year.
