Be happy with summerville taxes because if you lived in ct for a 250k house you will be paying about 4000 a year smh. Taxes here are excellent compared to some places

This is good to bear in mind. Although you're paying more in Dorchester County than I am on James Island, both are still way less than most places would be. And a house on JI costs much more than a comparable house in Summerville. The difference may seem like a lot percentage-wise but it amounts to $600 per year.
