Any of the many transplants have any regrets moving to the Charleston Metro area? If I was a single man it wouldn't cross my mind but I have 2 daughters that I want to give them a real chance in life. I am thinking Summerville or Ladson area, any suggestions or comments?

You know how I feel. No regrets at all. DH is a native New Englander, came to NC via Philly and Pittsburgh. I am here via the foothills of NC (veryyyy small town) and Charlotte. We couldn't be happier. I do believe that you and your family will be happy!

Where do you live? We live in Ladson and have been here for three years now. We own a two story and now thinking the two story was a mistake. So we are looking for a one story and was looking to move to NC ie., Wilmington or Greenville. What are your thoughts?

I see Uhaul trucks headed out of Charleston often enough to know that a few people are leaving. Why, I'm not sure, maybe they miss the mountains or the snow?
