Okay boys and girls. That's a rap. Good practice for the big one. Very happy it turned out with the rain and not much damage.
Up state got the worst of it, yet people like to head there when storms approach.
Now for the holiday weekend. Keep the northeast in our prayers.

We lost power at about 4pm yesterday afternoon, and it just came on at about 4 this morning. The crew who repaired the downed lines was one of the out of town crews called in to help; I believe they worked through the night - they were still at it at 11 last night.

We had nice gentle rains, on and off on Friday. We really needed it. Today it was blessedly cool and the sun was shining, so we spent some time weeding. It felt awesome to be outside with the temp below 90s. Some areas of Savannah lost power and had branches down.
We bought a generator last year, so of course our power will never go off again.
