My husband and I need a nice dinner out tonight. In tow will be our 7-month old son who likes to throw things and flirt with pretty waitresses. I'd prefer to not end up at Chilis or Fridays, which are almost always the most 'kid friendly' options. Any suggestions for us in Charleston or Mt. P???

Any events going on this weekend that may be good for us?

Oh yeah, preferably a place with a great bar. I'm thirsty for some grey goose...

Kid friendly, with a bar? Try South End Brewery, downtown on East Bay Street@Queen street.

Thanks DJ - that is where we normally end up! I'm a vegetarian (which complicates things) and we didn't have a great experience the last time, but maybe we'll give it another try!

Default Restaurant/Bar

You may also try Water's Edge in Mt Pleasant (Shem Creek)...

I like RB's Restaurant on Shem Creek. Here are a few photos of RB's. Try to get a table on the back porch. Waters Edge is also very good.
